Triameen Y12D – the answer to many questions in biocides applications
Time: 12:10 pm - 12:30 pm
Date: Tuesday 14 May
Increasing regulatory demands and public perception challenges have placed many biocidal active substances under threat, leading to an increased risk of molecule shortages for safe and effective biocide applications.
At H3i 2019, Nouryon will present Triameen Y12D. This is a highly-effective biocidal active substance, applicable in a wide variety of disinfectant and preservative applications. A primary use is the disinfection of food contact surfaces and for preservation of technical products like polymer dispersions for in-can preservation. It is also effective against mycobacteria, influenza virus H1N1 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Triameen Y12D is registered as part of the European Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR) under the name “Diamine.” Our presentation will focus on the technical and regulatory details when formulating disinfectant products based on “Diamine.”
